Baton Rouge-based Franklin Associates has been named the fastest growing company owned or led by an LSU alumni.
The annual LSU 100 rankings were unveiled at an awards ceremony held Thursday at L’Auberge Casino & Hotel. The competitive program ranks companies according to their compounded annual growth over a three-year period.
Franklin Associates is a communication firm that specializes in organizing public meetings and facilitating project management. Perry Franklin, who holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the E. J. Ourso College of Business at LSU, founded the firm in 2005. Anedot Inc., a fundraising platform, is No. 2 on the rankings, followed by ES Squared, Facilities Maintenance Management and Elite Fulfillment Solutions.
Performance Contractors Inc., led by president Art Favre, received the LSU 100 Summit Award, which honors the company that generated the highest revenue overall. All told, there are 58 companies on this year’s list that are headquartered in the Capital Region.
Since the inaugural LSU 100 rankings were released in 2011, five companies—Global Data Vault, Horizon Wealth Management, Lipsey’s, SGS Petroleum Service Corporation, and USA Technologies Inc.—have made the list all seven years.
