Former LSU running back Cecil Collins, who serving a 15-year prison sentence in Florida, says he’s “a walking example of what can happen to a guy who has all the talent in the world and doesn’t use his head.” Collins, who was sentenced to prison after breaking into an apartment where a woman slept, gave an interview with The South Florida Sun-Sentinel. The former Leesville High School standout says he’s gone back to playing football in prison this year. “I didn’t want to do it, because it brought up too many memories, all the way back to LSU days, playing in front of 65,000 screaming people,” Collins told the newspaper. “Now I play in front of 50 inmates and guards.” Read the story about Collins here.
