The former Chevron headquarters building in New Orleans’ Central Business District will become the headquarters of the New Orleans Receivables Exchange. The building will also be renamed The New Orleans Exchange Centre. The Receivables Exchange, an online marketplace for real-time trading of accounts receivable, will take up the top two floors of the 21-story building. Kingfish Development, which bought the building last year for $6 million, told The Times-Picayune the Receivables Exchange is the type of entrepreneurial business it wants to bring into the property. The Receivables Exchange will have 80 employees in the Crescent City by the end of the year.
