Rep. Bill Cassidy is garnering accolades from Forbes.com. In a blog post on the magazine site, Cassidy was described as one of the “stars” of the U.S. Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health. The post was written by Avik Roy, an equity research analyst at Monness, Crespi, Hardt & Co. in New York City. “Keep an eye on this Bill Cassidy,” Roy wrote. “He may emerge as one of the strongest Congressional voices on health care policy.” Cassidy offered up a humble response. “While I’m not looking for star status, I am concerned about American citizens and will use my medical experience to help keep health care policy from crippling our economy,” Cassidy said.
