Uncle E’s Wings and Things on the corner of Florida Boulevard and Sharp Lane may be a small burger joint, but there’s nothing small about the eating contest they’ve cooked up. This local hole-in-the-wall serves up delicious burgers with names like the “Huh Bruh” and the “Oh Snap,” but the colossal burger created for the upcoming challenge has earned its name: The OMG Burger. It’s three pounds of ground beef on a 10-inch muffuletta bun, topped with eight slices of hot sausage, 18 slices of bacon and nine slices of cheese. On June 25, competitors will face off to see who can finish this feast the fastest—fries and a 32-ounce drink included. The winner will take home a $100 cash prize and a trophy, and his or her picture will go on the wall of fame. For the contest, anyone who’s able to finish the gargantuan sandwich within an hour eats free. For more food and restaurant news, check out 225 Dine here.
