Mary Broussard was recently elected president of the Livingston Economic Development Council’s Board of Directors, succeeding Jeff Woods of Shaw Sunland Fabricators for a two-year term. The LEDC, based in Denham Springs, is an economic development organization working to improve the quality of life for citizens in Livingston Parish. Broussard, the customer service manager for Entergy, also serves on the Baton Rouge Workforce Investment Board Executive Committee and the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters board.
