An eyewitness says she saw LSU starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson kick someone in the face during a bar fight that injured four people last week. The account from 19-year-old Victoria Long was included in a police report released today, one day after police seized 49 pairs of athletic shoes from Jefferson’s apartment. Baton Rouge police Sgt. Don Stone wouldn’t explain why police took the shoes. The Times-Picayune says officers are trying to match a footprint on the shirt of one of the alleged victims. Stone says no arrests are expected today. Police interviewed Jefferson and three teammates—offensive lineman Chris Davenport, linebacker Josh Johns and receiver Jarvis Landry—this week about the fight that occurred in the parking lot of a bar where, police say, numerous LSU players were gathered. According to witnesses in the police report, an altercation happened when a pickup truck was blocked in by another vehicle. The driver of the truck, an unknown male, yelled to move the vehicle. Then he was pulled out of his truck by the crowd. Another man, Andrew Lowery, rescued the pickup driver from the crowd, then was attacked by what witnesses say was a group of football players. Long also told police that she saw Johns attacking Lowery, who she alleges was kicked by Jefferson.
