Nick Clausi, a graduate of Catholic High and the University of Texas at Austin, has been named ExxonMobil Chemical’s plastics plant manager in Baton Rouge. Clausi began his career at the ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Chemical Plant in 1998 as a research engineer; he later transferred to the ExxonMobil Chemical Headquarters, where he held product planning, supply chain and marketing positions. After serving as technical manager at the company’s Beaumont Polyethylene Plant, he assumed his current role as operations services department head at the Baton Rouge refinery. As plastics plant manager Clausi replaces Denise Burcham, who was recently named ExxonMobil Chemical Company’s venture manager of global basic chemicals. She will remain in Baton Rouge.
