ESPN’s popular Game Day program will open the college football season in Arlington, Texas, the site of the LSU-Oregon game. ESPN and LSU officials announced the site of the Sept. 3 program today on Twitter. The Cowboys Classic game, which pits the Tigers against the team that lost in the 2011 BCS Championship Game, will air at 7 p.m. Sept. 3 on ABC. LSU officials also posted pictures of Tiger coach Les Miles taping a Game Day commercial today in Los Angeles. The crews were turning the UCLA campus into LSU by posting purple and gold flags on buildings.
