A ceremony will be held Wednesday morning to mark the installation of two electric vehicle chargers on the LSU campus. Entergy donated the chargers: One is in the parking lot across from Patrick F. Taylor Hall, where the ceremony will take place; the other is in the Hart Lot near Kirby Smith. The chargers will give LSU students, faculty and staff a place where they can get power, at no cost, for their vehicles. The chargers will also collect usage data for Entergy and LSU’s Center for Energy Studies, allowing for research into the chargers’ impact on consumers and the utility grid.
