Gil Dupré announced his retirement today from the Louisiana Association of Health Plans, effective at the end of the year, having served 15 years as chief executive officer. Dupré, a 40-year veteran of the health benefits industry, founded LAHP in 1991. He worked for three health insurers over his career in a number of management and executive positions. “It is the right time, not only for my family and me, but for LAHP as well, for someone else to lead the association’s day-to-day activities,” he says. The LAHP board of directors has formed a search committee tasked with finding a new CEO, and Dupré is assisting in the search at the request of the board. Details on qualifications for the position and information on applying are available here.
