July 11: The Baton Rouge Financial Planning Association is hosting a Women in Financial Planning Luncheon to share ideas, mentorship opportunities, common experiences and getting to know other professional women in the financial planning industry. July 11: Louisiana Small Business Development Center is hosting a workshop called “Starting and Financing a Small Business” from 10 a.m. noon on Wednesday, July 11, at the Louisiana Technology Park. The free workshop will go over determining the feasibility of a business idea, planning to start a small business, required licenses, writing a business plan and sources of funds for start-up.
