The Baton Rouge Area Chamber will stop taking nominations for this year’s Baton Rouge Area Leadership Program on June 30. The nine-month program, which will begin in September, prepares 30-35 professionals for leadership positions in the community via a series of lectures, discussions and field trips. Since 1985, BRAC has graduated more than 900 professionals from the program. Nominees are accepted from public and private agencies, corporations, organizations and individuals. Participants are accepted based on demonstrated leadership ability, career or community achievements, concern for the Capital Region and commitment to program goals.
