Dani Borel can spend years untangling a legal dispute. This past summer, that persistence paid off twice.

The commercial and healthcare litigator won two long-running cases that delivered economic benefits for her clients.

At Breazeale Sachse, she translates complicated, stressful situations into plans with clear goals, then keeps her team moving toward them.

Her influence extends well beyond the courtroom. Borel chaired the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division in 2024–2025 after leading its Louisiana counterpart, championing professional development, mentorship and lawyer wellness. Her state leadership helped launch Level Up Learning, a free educational program for young attorneys.

Back home, she built LSU Laboratory School’s first mock trial program, designing its curriculum and leading after-school practices. Its inaugural season produced two competition teams, renewed commitments from returning students and interest in legal careers.

The best business advice I’d share: “Doing it all is a myth. When you are succeeding at something, there’s something else demanding your attention. Being successful comes when you make peace with your limited time and stop apologizing for prioritizing your time on the things that matter most to you.”
