Crescent Crown Distributing, an Arizona-based beer distributor with regional headquarters in New Orleans, has finalized its purchase of a 15-acre tract off of Tom Drive near Cortana Mall for $1,773,000. The distributor, which in November filed plans to build a new warehouse on the property, carries Coors and Miller beer products along with dozens of other domestic and import brands. At the time of the filing, engineer Kevin Norman told Daily Report that Crescent Crown’s purchase of the Tom Drive tract depended on the rezoning and re-subdivision of the property. Flor-line Associates LLC was the seller in the deal, which closed Tuesday. The purchase was filed with the East Baton Rouge Clerk of Court on Thursday. Crescent Crown’s local distribution facility is currently based at 9550 Dawnadele Ave. —Staff report
