In what will likely mark the start of a slew of event postponements or cancellations across the Capital Region early this week due to Tropical Storm Isaac, CPEX announced this morning that it’s postponing its 2012 Smart Growth Summit, which was to begin this evening and run through Wednesday in Baton Rouge. “As soon as details regarding new dates for the summit are confirmed, CPEX will send out notifications and information will be posted on the summit website at summit.cpex.org,” reads a statement from CPEX. Those who have registered for the summit and want to pose questions about it are being asked to email them to summit@cpex.org.
