A local physician and his wife have acquired the 20,000-square-foot office building at 10551 Coursey Blvd. that is home to Remington College.
In a deal that closed this afternoon, Coursey Boulevard LLC, which is owned by Dr. Kenneth and Lilian Lo, acquired the building and the 5.66 acres on which it sits from EAI Realty Inc. of Heathrow, Florida for $2 million. Agents handling the transaction say the deal is a sale-leaseback arrangement and that Remington College will remain the building’s sole tenant.
The building, which is located on Coursey between Airline Highway and South Sherwood Forest Boulevard, was developed in the 1980s as an automotive dealership for American Motors. The company went out of business before ever occupying the building, however. The structure was later occupied by a cell phone company.
