Controversial conservative pundit Ann Coulter abruptly ended an interview this morning on The Jim Engster Show. The low-key Engster accused Coulter of lying after she made a comment about President-elect Barack Obama being 14 years old. Coulter then said her comments were “hyperbole,” told Engster to look up the definition in a dictionary, then hung up. Coulter, who is out promoting a new book, Guilty, has had some confrontational interviews in the past few weeks, which Engster says put her on the defensive. “I tried to be respectful,” says Engster, who is celebrating his birthday today. “She did say I needed to read a Webster’s before the next interview, so maybe she’ll be back on again.” For a link to the show, click here.—Timothy Boone
