In November 2010, Louisiana Southport purchased a building from American Gateway Bank at 11842 Justice Ave. for $326,000 and renovated it for occupancy by Acadian Diagnostic Laboratories. Acadian provides blood diagnostic information to physicians nationwide and is planning to expand overseas.
Earlier this month, Louisiana Southport sold the building to Cypress Garden Investments LLC for $380,000, or about $90 per square foot. Cypress Garden Investments includes the owners of Acadian Diagnostic Laboratories.
The broker representing the seller was Matthew Laborde with Beau Box Commercial Real Estate. The purchasers’ broker was Angie Hector with Re/Max Plus Denham Springs.
