An office building at 1234 Del Este Ave. in Denham Springs was sold last week to Get Gordon Denham Springs, represented by personal injury attorney Gordon McKernan. The seller was B L Suburban Developers LLC, represented by John C Blount.
According to sales documents, the property sold for $370,000 and comprises about 3,000 square feet, meaning the sales price works out to about $123.33 per square foot. According to Lawson Covington of Covington & Associates Real Estate, who brokered the transaction, the building has three separate suites and McKernan will occupy one of them. The other two suites are occupied already.
In another sale of note, the office building at 501 Louisiana Ave. in downtown Baton Rouge has been sold to 501 Louisiana Ave LLC, represented by lawyer Charles A. Schutte. Milton O’Neal Walsh sold the roughly 10,000-square-foot building for $780,000, or about $78 per square foot. David Vercher with KW Commercial Real Estate brokered the transaction. The new owner intends to relocate his law office to this building after completing a renovation.
