Shortly after Dallas-based Trinity Marine Products announced the closure of its Brusly plant and an anticipated 283 layoffs in late August, West Baton Rouge Parish officials told Daily Report they hoped the company could land a large enough contract to keep the plant open and the workers on the job. They got their wish today.
