Dallas-based BearCom Group, which bills itself as the largest provider of wireless communications equipment in North America, has acquired the communications portion of Baton Rouge-based EMCO Technologies.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The new company will be called EMCO Communications/BearCom-A BearCom Company. EMCO Technologies, which dates back more than 55 years, will continue to own and operate its information technology division as EMCO Technologies Inc., with Todd Bourgeois as CEO.
