Blues Week’s finale ends on a high note with the Baton Rouge Blues Festival all day Saturday. Percy Sledge & the Aces take the stage at 3:10 p.m. Bobby “Blue” Bland will “turn on your love light” at 6:30 p.m., and Native American bluesman Charlie Musselwhite, the inspiration for Dan Akroyd’s Blues Brothers, is the main attraction at 8:15 p.m. The one-of-a-kind musical experience starts at noon near the Old State Capitol and the River Center. Also during Blues Week, the legendary king of the swamp blues Tabby Thomas performs plenty of old favorites — from “Big Fat Women” to “Raining in My Heart” — Friday night at Chelsea’s Café. It’s the perfect date night. His son, Chris, will be there, too.
