June 14: The Ronald Reagan Newsmaker Luncheon will take place at noon at Café Américain, 7521 Jefferson Hwy. More details to come.

June 16: The Sales & Marketing Executives luncheon will take place at from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Juban’s Restaurant, 3739 Perkins Road. Fee is $35 for guests, and there is no charge for SME members. RSVP and get more information.

June 21: State Rep. Barbara Carpenter, D-Baton Rouge, state Sen. Regina Barrow are hosting a town hall meeting to discuss the 2016 legislative session at 6-7:30 p.m. at the Scotlandville Library, 7373 Scenic Hwy.

June 23: Richard White Jr., dean of the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business, is the featured speaker at Christ in the City Ethics First (Again) Luncheon taking place from noon to 1 p.m. at the De La Ronde Ballroom, 320 3rd St. Tickets cost $50 per person or $750 a table. Get more information.
