The end of the year is fast approaching, and so is the time-honored tradition: the holiday office party. While many professionals do dread getting an eyeful of the boss twerking, the guy in sales crooning for karaoke or the colleague in clothing that’s too high/too low/too tight, a majority do want some sort of holiday celebration with their co-workers, according to a new independent survey of U.S. workers.
Business Report wants to know about the best office celebration you’ve ever attended in 100 words or less. Was it a formal gathering at an off-site venue? A day spent volunteering for a local charity? A casual theme party in the boss’s home? What made it such a standout? Email your stories and a high-resolution head-and-shoulders photograph of yourself to Business Report Managing Editor Penny Font. The magazine will share the best tales—along with the results of the holiday office party survey—in its Nov. 25 issue.
