Today: A community meeting to discuss the proposed emergency room and other health care services in north Baton Rouge will take place at 5:30 p.m. at The Office of Champion Medical Center, 7855 Howell Place Blvd. Seating is limited.

Wednesday: Corporate Connections will host an information meeting at 8 a.m. at the Bocage Racquet Club, 7600 Jefferson Highway. Executive-level business leaders focused on business, business sales and marketing are invited to attend. The cost is $20 to participate and includes breakfast. Wednesday: The June 1 Million Cups entrepreneurial event will take place from 9-10 a.m. at the Main Library at Goodwood, 7711 Goodwood Blvd. Chip Davis will present on Trade Authority, a revolutionary barter system that did over $19 million last year. June 7: Registration still is open for the Baton Rouge Area Chamber’s June monthly luncheon, The Agency Panel, set to take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Main Library at Goodwood, 7711 Goodwood Blvd. Registration is $20 for investors and $30 for non-investors. June 16: The Sales & Marketing Executives luncheon will take place at from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Juban’s Restaurant, 3739 Perkins Road. The luncheon costs $35 for guests, and there is no charge for SME members. RSVP and get more information.
