July 10: Christ in the City, a nondenominational Christian center, hosts a lunchtime lecture on corporate ethics from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Ruffino’s Catering at De La Ronde Hall, 320 Third St. The speaker is Aaron Beam, co-founder and former CFO of HealthSouth Corp. of Birmingham, Alabama, who served three months in prison and lost his CPA credentials due to fraudulent bookkeeping in the 1990s.
