Tuesday — The LSU Law Center hosts leaders from the state Republican and Democratic parties for “A Conversation About the Issues in the Presidential Election” from 5 to 6 p.m. in the McKernan Auditorium on the LSU campus. LSU professors Bob Mann and Jim Garand will moderate the conversation. The event is free and open to the public.
Tuesday — State Treasurer John Kennedy will serve as the keynote speaker of the Livingston Economic Development Council’s quarterly membership meeting at Forrest Grove Plantation in Denham Springs, 8743 Stephenson Drive, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Cost is $15, including lunch.
