May 24: LSU Executive Education’s Breakfast to Business will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. in classroom 1420 of LSU’s Business Education Complex. Standard registration is $25 per person. Get more information and register.

May 24: The Louisiana Small Business Development Center is hosting a free class for veteran-owned small business certification from 9 a.m. to noon at the Louisiana Technology Park, 7717 Florida Blvd. Get more information and register. 

May 24: Louisiana Sen. Beth Mizell, R-Franklinton, will discuss her first session in the Louisiana Legislature at the Chamber of Commerce of East Baton Rouge luncheon at noon at Café Américain, 7521 Jefferson Hwy. Lunch is $17.50, payable to the restaurant.

May 26: A Leaders With Vision public policy forum on Louisiana Sunshine laws will be held at 11:15 a.m. at Drusilla Restaurant, 3482 Drusilla Lane. Lunch will be served at 11:45 p.m. Tickets cost $25 plus tax for general admission and $20 plus tax for members. Get more information and register.

June 1: Corporate Connections will host an information meeting at 8 a.m. at the Bocage Racquet Club, 7600 Jefferson Hwy. Executive-level business leaders focused on business, business sales and marketing are invited to attend. The cost is $20 to participate and includes breakfast. June 23: Richard White Jr., dean of the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business, is the featured speaker at Christ in the City Ethics First (Again) Luncheon taking place from noon to 1 p.m. at the De La Ronde Ballroom, 320 3rd St. Tickets cost $50 per person or $750 a table. Get more information.
