Friday: Christ in the City, a nondenominational Christian center, hosts a lunchtime lecture on corporate ethics from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Ruffino’s Catering at De La Ronde Hall, 320 Third St. The speaker is Aaron Beam, co-founder and former CFO of HealthSouth Corp. of Birmingham, Alabama, who served three months in prison and lost his CPA credentials due to fraudulent bookkeeping in the 1990s. July 16-17: The 2015 Louisiana Export Training Program takes place over two days, with sessions from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the offices of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry, 3113 Valley Creek Drive. Cost is $125, including lunch and course materials. The training program is aimed at new export business managers, marketing and sales staff who need export training, experienced exporters who want a refresher, or anyone involved in the export process.
