Hunter Green in House District 66 seat, which includes portions of southeast East Baton Rouge Parish, will appear at a forum taking place at Café Américain, 7521 Jefferson Highway, and sponsored by the Republican Party of East Baton Rouge Parish. Confirmed to attend are Metro Councilman Buddy Amoroso, former Metro Councilman Darrel Ourso and Baton Rouge attorney Rick Bond. Reception begins at 11:30 a.m., with the luncheon and forum to begin at noon. Cost is $15 and includes lunch. Reservations are not necessary.
Wednesday: The Louisiana Industrial Development Executives Association hosts a half-day educational summit to explore the impact of the state’s film tax credit program and other issues related to the entertainment industry.
