Tonight — A community meeting on the city-parish’s planned buy of the former Woman’s Hospital campus on Airline Highway will be held at 6 p.m. at BREC headquarters, 6201 Florida Blvd. A number of city-parish officials will be on hand to answer questions and discuss the planned purchase.
Tuesday — A public meeting sponsored by members of the One Community, One School District—which is opposing a breakaway school district in East Baton Rouge Parish—will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Bluebonnet Library, 9200 Bluebonnet Blvd.
Wednesday — An open house-style meeting will be held at the Louisiana Arts and Science Museum, 100 South River Road, from 4 to 7 p.m. to provide an update on the replacement of the River Center Branch Library downtown. For more information call 231-3710.
