Thursday — The League of Women Voters of Baton Rouge will hold its monthly lunch at 11:30 a.m. at Drusilla Seafood. The topic will be “What are your options for living long and well in Louisiana?” Panelists include Joe Donchess, executive director of the Louisiana Nursing Home Association; Hugh Eley, assistant secretary for the Office of Aging & Adult Services at the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals; and Kerry Everitt, associate state director of advocacy for AARP Louisiana. April 26 — The 2011 Annual Health Care Conference, sponsored by the Louisiana Department of Insurance, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center.
