Feb. 19 — Aaron Dirks, president of the Louisiana chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and co-founder of the Association of Corporate Growth Louisiana Chapter, will be guest speaker of the LSU Executive Education’s Breakfast to Business event, which will take place from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. in the Business Education Complex on campus. Cost is $25, which includes a full breakfast; $20 for LSU students, staff and faculty, as well as for members of SCORE, Louisiana Tech Park, Louisiana Business & Technology Center, and Center for Emerging Technology. Feb. 19 — From Employee to Entrepreneur, a five-part series on starting a business, hosted by the Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce and the Louisiana SBDC at Southeastern Louisiana University, begins with Business Startup Essentials, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Livingston Parish Literacy and Technology Center, 9261 Florida Blvd. in Walker.
