Countless residents of the Capital Region make a positive difference day in and day out by dedicating their time and talents to volunteer efforts. But some take community service to the next level, not only during the Christmas season, not only by writing checks or sitting on committees, but by rolling up their sleeves and directly helping the less fortunate. Mac Womack, partner at Taylor Porter; Bridgett Johnson, ExxonMobil quality assurance coordinator; and Ty Hingle, owner of Mattress Direct, are three local executives who stand out for their ability to balance demanding careers and the sometimes daunting needs of others.
