Filming for the A&E TV series Breakout Kings will cause various road closures and no-parking zones in Spanish Town Wednesday through Friday. Closures are as follows:
• North Fifth Street between Lakeland and State Capitol drives will be closed to thru traffic from 5 a.m. Wednesday through 11:30 p.m. Friday;
• No parking on North Seventh Street between North Street and Spanish Town Road from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday;
• No parking on University Walk between North Fifth and North Sixth streets from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday;
• No parking on Lakeland Drive between North Fifth and North Sixth streets from 6 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday;
• No parking on Spanish Town Road between North Fifth and North Sixth streets from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday;
• No parking on North Sixth Street between Lakeland Drive and Spanish Town Road from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.
“We may hold residential traffic for two- to three-minute intervals while filming is taking place at each of these locations,” reads a letter to Spanish Town residents from the TV show. “We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. Please know that all emergency vehicles and the US Postal Service will not be held for any reason during our time in the neighborhood and that we will not block anyone’s driveways or entrances.”
