Add Kristy McKearn to the list of Baton Rouge Area Chamber officials who have joined the staff at Louisiana Economic Development. McKearn, senior vice president of governmental affairs for BRAC, has been named undersecretary of LED. She starts her new job Aug. 3. McKearn, a former Business Report Forty Under 40 winner, has been BRAC’s top lobbyist for just over a year. Along with McKearn, other top BRAC officials now with LED include former president and CEO Stephen Moret, who heads the department; Steven Grissom, deputy secretary, and Jason El Koubi, a director with the agency.
