Kyle Zeringue, who has been working at the state level on business development for Louisiana Economic Development, has been tapped by the Baton Rouge Area Chamber to serve as senior vice president of business development.
Zeringue, who will begin his work with BRAC on June 1, replaces Iain Vasey, who was BRAC’s executive director of business development for five years before announcing in February he was moving on to Corpus Christi, Texas, where he will lead the city’s Regional Economic Development Corporation as president and CEO.
Zeringue has been with LED since 2010, most recently serving as director of business development, tasked with recruiting companies of all sizes and industries to the state. Prior to joining LED, Zeringue served as an executive with The Shaw Group Inc. (which has since been acquired by CB&I), where he held a number of leadership positions, including director of government services for the environmental and infrastructure division, director of marketing and communications, and operations manager.
