BRAC is partnering with the Greater New Orleans, Inc. for its first Canvas Workshop, BRAC President/CEO Adam Knapp announced today. The joint team will be visiting a to-be-announced metropolitan area later this year. The Canvas Workshops annually take a group of city leaders to a metro area outside the state to take a look at how they approach issues such as economic development and education, among others. Baton Rouge leaders have previously visited cities including Austin, Texas; Louisville, Ky; Portland, Ore., and others. This will be the first trip in partnership with another city. The destination for the trip will be announced in early April.
