The Baton Rouge Area Chamber is urging its members to get involved with the ongoing strategic planning being done by the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. The strategic plan will direct local efforts to reform K-12 education over the next three to five years, so it’s critical to get public input now, says Adam Knapp, BRAC president and CEO. Groups are looking at issues such as early childhood education, neighborhood schools and overall system management. Committee meetings start Monday and run nearly every day for the next two weeks.
