Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana and more than two dozen partners have founded the Louisiana Healthcare Education Coalition to help Louisiana residents navigate the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. A Baton Rouge launch event was planned for today at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center. The LHEC includes a speakers bureau of 40 Blue Cross employees available to educate providers, businesspeople and the general public about health care reform.
