Block Companies, a commercial and multi-family builder, is moving into a new office in Towne Center at Cedar Lodge. Effective Jan. 26, the firm will be in the Books-A-Million complex. The 3,300-square-foot space is nearly twice the size as Block’s Jamestown Avenue offices. Jason Keller, Block’s owner, says it’s only fitting his company has an office in Towne Center because of all work they’ve done in the lifestyle center. Block built the Books-A-Million complex and finished out space for several Towne Center retailers, including Banana Republic, Adler’s Jewelry and Zea.
