Katherine Boccaccio began her journalism career 35 years ago as managing editor of Baton Rouge Magazine. After a 20-year stint in Nebraska, she returned to Baton Rouge in 2010 and has worked the past 12 years for Lebhar-Friedman, a New York City-based media company. As executive director of events for Lebhar-Friedman and senior editor of its Chain Store Age publication, she works from her home office here, but frequently travels for conferences and meetings, including to the Tampa/St. Petersburg area.
