Grammy Award winning artist Chubby Carrier & the Bayou Swamp Band will take the stage in downtown Baton Rouge for Live After Five today, which kicks off at 5 p.m. at Repentance Park.
As the Best of 225 This Week reports, the free, outdoor concert series is the most successful in Baton Rouge’s history and sees more than 100,000 audience members per year. A band or performer will play each Friday through Oct. 27.
Chubby Carrier & the Bayou Swamp Band have a high energy sound that mixes blues, ’70s funk, rock and roll and classic zydeco. Live After Five is sponsored by the Downtown Business Association.
