About three years ago, Tigue Bonneval joined the Beau Box Commercial Real Estate team with 11 years of experience in the local residential real estate market. At that time, Beau Box was strictly a commercial real estate firm—as the company name implies—and Bonneval came aboard to add a residential component to the business.

Now, after several years of significant growth in Beau Box’s residential portfolio, the company is rebranding and expanding that portion of the business as Audubon Real Estate Associates.

“The concern was that our residential work was being overshadowed by the huge amount of commercial work that we do,” Bonneval explains of the rebrand. “But we also don’t want people to get the wrong impression. We’re still a Beau Box company and we’re still headquartered here in Baton Rouge. This is just a rebrand and expansion.”

Audubon Real Estate Associates will be headquartered at Beau Box’s new offices at 5500 Bankers Ave. Of the new name, Bonneval says the company wanted it to reflect its growing portfolio of work across south Louisiana.

“We’re not just in Baton Rouge. I have over 40 listings in Hammond, New Orleans, Donaldsonville, Lafayette and other areas in south Louisiana, so we wanted the name to reflect that broader spectrum of our work in the state,” he says. “And since the logo for Beau Box is a big red ‘B’, we decided to go with a big blue ‘A’ for our new logo.”

In the three years since Bonneval joined Beau Box, the company has added a number of residential agents and support staff. And with the steady gains seen in the local residential market in recent years and a pending economic boom at hand, Bonneval expects the newly rebranded firm to grow this year.

“We’ll probably add about four more people this year,” he says. “We’re definitely excited about 2015. 2013 was a phenomenal year for us, 2014 was a really good year and with us adding some agents in 2015, I think we’re going to do even better this year.” —Steve Sanoski
