BCS smack talk goes high-tech

Well, today’s the big day: LSU finally takes on Alabama for the national title. As the hype has been building in the last month, a growing number of fans have been taking their smack talk to high-tech heights. YouTube is awash in some pretty good quality videos of fans touting the Tigers. Arden Lo and B.I.F.F. have put together the catchy and amusing “We Want ‘Bama [The Song: Trash Talk Version].” “Alabama, you in double, double trouble,” the rapper croons, as an image of the Honey Badger nodding to the beat flashes on the screen. “There’s no way in the world, Alabama, that you all are gonna come here to the State of Louisiana and win the National Championship. There’s no way in the world!” See the video here. Another video simply billing itself as the “LSU Alabama BCS National Championship Hype Video THIS IS OUR HOUSE!” is heavy on images of LSU dominating the field against Alabama and other teams, and features some unflattering footage of Nick Saban on the field. Watch it here. In yet another video set to “Welcome to the Show,” LesMiles.net weighs in with a series of clips of commentators picking Alabama over LSU, juxtaposed with the Tigers rolling all over the Tide here. “LSU Championship Bounce,” by a group calling itself the Lil Final Boyz, teaches us some new dance moves, incorporating LSU-only steps like The Eat Grass, The Les Clap and The Brad Wing.
