Baton Rouge received a “C+” in a ranking of America’s most sedentary cities, which was compiled by Men’s Health magazine. The city ranked 36th out of 100 metro areas in the survey, which was determined by how much people exercised, the percentage of people who watch more than 15 hours of TV a week and the percentage of the population who die of deep-vein thrombosis, a condition linked to sitting. New Orleans received a “D+” and ranked 68th. Louisville, Ky., ranked as the most sedentary city, and Seattle was the most active city. See the full report here.
