The Louisiana State Nurses Association for the fifth time has named Baton Rouge General the Hospital of the Year. The hospital received the honor because of its value and respect for nursing and an environment that supports nurses. Baton Rouge General is the only hospital to win the 8-year-old honor multiple times. Chris Gatlin, a Baton Rouge General nursing director, was named nurse of the year.
