At $3.60 per gallon as of this morning, the average price of regular unleaded gas fell 5 cents over the past week, according to the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report. But that’s likely to come as little relief to motorists in light of recent increases. Gas in Baton Rouge is selling for nearly 30 cents more per gallon than it was just one month ago. Still, it’s 2 cents cheaper than it was one year ago. The Baton Rouge average is one penny below the average price in Louisiana, and it’s also below the national average of $3.74.
