Rockit Science Agency has been commissioned by the U.S. Navy to rebrand SEA 21, which is responsible for equipping surface ships with the latest technology through planned modernization and program upgrades. “The rebrand will encompass the positioning of the brand and the logo, and how it applies to everything from reports to Congress and the Pentagon to external uses,” says Rockit Science President Brad BonGiovanni, adding the rebranding effort will take place over the next six months under the guidance of a Navy admiral. BonGiovanni says the contract forbids him from disclosing its value. Rockit Science has previously worked for the Navy, and more recently completed work for the U.S. Coast Guard. “It’s basically been good word of mouth,” BonGiovanni says of the agency’s ability to pick up such government contracts. “Ever since we started working with (the Navy) about three years ago, we’ve just increased our scope of work and strengthened our relationships. We’re really excited about it, and we hope to do more work like this in the future.” —Steve Sanoski
